A body search is only as good as the officers who do it correctly. This comprehensive program identifies and instructs viewers on the correct way to conduct two types of body searches: clothed and unclothed. The third type, a body cavity search can only be conducted by medical personnel. Although an officer may demand a search at any time, the primary reasons for body searches are to prevent contraband from entering the facility, to find contraband already inside, and to protect people's lives.
